As a public body pursuant to Section 2 Hessische Verordnung über barrierefreie Informationstechnik (BITV HE 2019) (Hessian Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology) in conjunction with Section 9 (1) Hessisches Gesetz zur Gleichstellung von Menschen mit Behinderungen (HessBGG) (Hessian Law on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities), the VABiKo project endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Hessian Law on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (HessBGG) and the Hessian Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (BITV HE 2019) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
